Exhibit Design Associates / Climax – 3D Block-caving animation for the National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum exhibit. This presentation illustrates the following: the creation of the haulage tunnel; the slusher tunnels formed at 90 degrees to haulage tunnel; a vertical view of tunnels; the forming of the stope drifts; a vertical view of the tunnels and stop drifts; the undercut drilling and formation of finger raises; undercut blasting and opening of the finger raises; full production; ore body caving and surface subsidence.
Note that the video aspect is an unusual 5:4 ratio to meet the specific display requirements that Exhibit Design Associates needed for this project.
