Client: Mashburn Hope
Located in prestigious downtown Scottsdale, Arizona the Scottsdale Waterfront is a classic mixed use project being developed by Mashburn/Hope. It will occupy the S/W corner of Camelback and Scottsdale Roads, Scottsdale’s most highly regarded intersection. This development will soon be the home of some of the nation’s greatest retailers such as FAO Schwartz, Cheesecake Factory and Borders Books to name just a few.
Selected as the 3D design and animation resource for Studio 43 in Phoenix, Studio 522 was hired to create a 3D virtual tour of the entire Scottsdale Waterfront development. Mashburn / Hope, Studio 43 and Studio 522 began the project with pre-production kick off meetings. From there 522 began modeling work using Nelsen Architect’s blueprints to “construct” the buildings. The landscaping for the animation was created from blueprints and documentation provided by SWA. Included among the many finishing details are: walking people, vehicles, trees, flowers, waterfalls, lamps, bridges and retail signs.
